"U wot m8?"
Yup, you've seen and read it correctly. We have collected the best Chimera Ant screenshots for Episode 2011 alone. But before we get to that, let's have an episode review.
It has been more than 6 weeks when we last discussed about a Hunter x Hunter episode. That would mean five episodes and here we are again having a recap of the events in the Hunter x Hunter world. Five episodes in six weeks? Yes, you heard it right. Due to holidays, fans of the series had suffered a week of boredom and streaming sites hits were rampant when the latest episode was aired.
Come to think of it. Is it really correct to cancel the regular screening of anime series if it's holiday? Really? What are we supposed to do then? Bad move!
"Bad move Ant" - Isaac Netero |
Though the long wait had been an excruciating torture for many, episode 111 proves that the series is worth waiting. It was successful on giving the amount of thrill that could exceed two normal episodes. The problem is that, the thrill only lasted for less or more than 20 minutes - just like its regular episodes. And we all know that the more thrill, the shorter the episode would be like. So in other words, it gave many people the feel in which the episode only went on for about 5 minutes. Trust me it did.
Many fans are aching to see the "legends" or the "strongest of the strongest hunters" in action. The previous episode gave us a teaser of what would happen to East Gorteau on the coming weeks. Right there and then, we have seen that Isaac Netero who is the chairman of the Hunter Association and Zeno Zoldyck, grandpa of Killua descended from the skies to start the assault. Episode 111 - Charge x and x Invade wraps every ounce of tension, compresses it all in one box, delivers it to each and every Hunter x Hunter fan before lighting it up and boom!
The episode gave birth to a lot of questions. Though some can already answer it (those who have read the manga), the series looked a little bit propelled that it could provide a whole new perception to the viewer. Aside from wondering about who the old Zoldyck is speaking with, another example of a trending question across the social media sites is, "Who will win in a death match? Netero or Neferpitou?"
I have my own answer for that question but I prefer to discuss it on a different page of this blog. Moving on, here is Shenron. Ooops, I mean Grandpa Zeno's dragon lighting the skies, meeting the kitty's huge and amoebic En before splitting itself into hundreds of meteor rain-like spears of Nen.

For me, the highlight of this particular episode is how the Royal Guards had desperately reacted to the situation. It really felt like those Chimera Ants had left their iPhone in a public bathroom and they can't find their shoes or flip flops so that they could start running for it. Those look on their faces gave me that unspecified kind of pleasure. Anyway, Fantasy Fan Leogan was successful to capture those looks and share it with the readers.
