Yu Yu Hakusho Voice Actors Reunion

Original Japanese seiyuus of the main four, Nozumu Sasaki (Yusuke Urameshi), Shigeru Chiba (Kuwabara) Nobuyuki Hiyama (Hiei) and Megumi Hinata (Kurama) reprised their role for this dub. The anime will bring back an old staff including Noriyuki Abe, director and storyboarder at studio Pierrot.

Hunter x Hunter creator Yoshihiro Togashi, who is still in-charge of the illustrations, published Yu Yu Hakusho original manga from 1990 to 1994. Viz Media began publishing the original manga in English edition of Shonen Jump in 1992. The story follows Yusuke Urameshi, a troublesome teenager and student who dies in a car accident after saving a kid. He was hired offered to come back to life in exchange of a job as a Spirit Detective tasked to hunt down demons.

Apart from the Blu-Ray Collection, the 25th anniversary of Yu Yu Hakusho is expected to give birth to a new smartphone game, Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle (translated: 100% Serious Battle). The game is set to be launched this year by Klab Games. Sources also say that Mobcast and eitarasoft are currently developing a new game for the Yu Yu Hakusho franchise.
