Japan is home to many tourist spots. Apart from the clean, orderly, and eccentric vibe, the country offers many exciting places people can't find elsewhere.

When an anime lover decides to take a trip to Japan, there are specific destinations they probably want to visit. With lots of videos going around Facebook today about Japan's food, culture, and travel, they might have included the featured destinations in their itinerary.

The Studio Ghibli museum is a must-see for every otaku and anime fan. It showcases the immortalization of various characters and notable scenes from Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli collection. For many, it's a significant milestone to achieve in life. Don't die without seeing this trendy place!

There's another reason why Hayao Miyazaki fans must rejoice. Several anime news sites reported earlier that the new Studio Ghibli theme park would rise in Nagakute City, 90 miles east of Kyoto, Central Japan, in 2020. However, there's a slight delay in its development, moving its launch in 2022.

Although a setback, this could mean more fantastic Studio Ghibli treats to everyone who watched many films of this production company.

The said park measured a 500-acre lot. In line with the regional government representative, Studio Ghibli intends to build the place without diminishing the environment as they would like visitors to enjoy nature while feasting their eyes on many sceneries of this upcoming amusement.

As of this time, we're pretty sure that all fans of this Japanese animation studio were "Spirited Away" upon hearing that this magical world of Studio Ghibli films will reanimate in the real world.

A basic plan of the park has been released, showing some of the attractions, rides, and forest trails to be included. In addition to that, the theme park will consist of the iconic European-style brick buildings we saw in Ghibli movies, spiders, statues of boars, and other creatures that elicit the feeling of Japan's unique and mystical scenes.

The news about the theme park comes shortly after the death of Isao Takahata, known as the unspoken hero of Studio Ghibli. Takahata is one of the founders of Ghibli legend. He was responsible for films like 'Grave of The Fireflies' and the charming animated "Tale of Princess Kaguya."

Takahata may not reach the global status Miyazaki enjoys, but he played an essential part in Ghibli's success. Optimistically, the theme park was not only made to honor Miyazaki's works as one of the most successful animators of all time but also for Takahata's works and contribution to the studio.

Following the spectacular planned structure of Studio Ghibli, the regional government is still uncertain on how much would be the cost of this project. The lineup of architects and other people who will work on the site is not yet confirmed. Still, people are already looking forward to the completion and opening of this theme park.

Below, we list down ten activities and other things to expect in the upcoming Studio Ghibli theme park that everyone awaits.
