The story takes place on Cybertron, the planet from which the good and bad robots came. It will also show the war on Cybertron between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The film centered around the relationship between the Optimus Prime and Megatron, the leaders of the rival factions. Other previous animated series, comics, and video games have also shown the shared pasts of Optimus Prime and Megatron. But it’s unclear if this will be totally a new part of their origin.

This new film is the seventh transformers movie and it's different and separate from the previous live-action Transformers film series and The Bumblebee Spinoff. However, as studios restarting its production, it is clear that making a large-scale animated film is more convenient for them than making a live-action film because we are currently facing a crisis and animated film is perfect for doing so much work while respecting the social distancing.

The credited writers of Ant-Man and The Wasp, also the authors who did some of the production work on Ant-Man, "Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari" are the scriptwriters of this Transformers Animated Prequel Film. Hasbro's Entertainment studio eOne who's doing the production of this film.

These writers have been working on the animated film for many years, let's look what's their impact of joining the writer's team meant to expand the Transformers universe. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and Hasbro's Entertainment eOne are the expected Producers of this upcoming movie.
