Netflix is now showing the Official Trailer for the Second Season of the new Baki The Grappler: In Search of Our Strongest Hero "Baki: Dai Raitai Sai-hen" on Thursday. They reveal its official English title Baki: The Great Raitai Tournament Saga. They also unveiled a new visual.


Additionally, on Thursday Akita Shoten's Weekly Shounen Champion magazine revealed in its 25th issue this year that not only the anime covers the Great Raitai Tournament Saga manga story, but also the Kami no Ko Gekitotsu "The Clash of the Children of Gods" arc. The anime will also show the stories based on the "Revenge Tokyo" side stories focusing on the death row convicts from the Baki (2018) season. Featuring the return of the voice actors of Chafurin (Speck), Takehito Koyasu (Hector Doyle), Banjou Ginga (Dorian), Kenjiro Tsuda (Sikorsky), and Issei Futamata (Ryuuko Yanagi).

The Baki: The Great Raitai Tournament Saga will debut worldwide on Netflix on June 4. With the returning staff for the second season, with the addition of Masanori Nishiyama and Shingo Ishikawa. The casts are also returning for the second season. GRANRODEO will perform the opening theme song titled "Jounetsu wa Oboeteiru" (Remember Your Passion), and Ena Fujita performs the ending theme song titled "Dead Stroke."

Netflix premiered the first season of Baki in June 2018 in Japan, and it lasts for 26 episodes finishing in December 2018. They only began posting the first 13 episodes outside of Japan in December 2018, followed by the last 13 episodes of the first season in March 2019.

On Monday, CAPCOM announced that the digital and physical versions of the Sengoku Basara 4 - Sumeragi Anniversary Edition will release in Japan on July 21. It will include the Sengoku Basara 4 - Sumeragi PS4 game, 66 items of DLC content, and the 80-page "Sengoku Eiyuu Juugo Shounen Garoku" art booklet.

The DLC set will consist of collaboration costumes, battlefields, weapons, and music. It will be available to purchase by separate on the same day as the main release. The Sengoku Eiyuu Juugo Shounen Garoku Booklet will consist of art from the Sengoku Basara's history, also with the exclusive interviews and illustrations. Besides, the e-CAPCOM online store is giving an exclusive version of the Sengoku Basara 4 - Sumeragi Anniversary Edition with a 15th-anniversary cloth. 

CAPCOM released the Sengoku Basara 4 PS3 action game in Japan in January 2014 and released the HD version that honors the 10th anniversary by releasing another PS4 game Sengoku Basara 4 - Sumeragi in July 2015.

The game has also had a manga adaptation by Motoki Yoshihara released in December 2013 and ended in November 2015. It also got a stage play adaptation that shown in Japan from January to February 2016.

CAPCOM's Sengoku Basara franchise has got several television anime series, an anime movie, a live-action series with two anthology films, and many stage plays. It also had a spinoff television anime adaptation of the Gakuen Basara project based on the game franchise, premiered in October 2018. Additionally, the Satsuki Urushiji's Sengoku Basara - Sarutobi Sasuke Einbinden manga released in September 2018 and ended in July 2019.

Studio Colorido's short anime series "Pokemon: Twilight Wings" for the Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Nintendo Switch RPG games announced on their official Twitter account on May 15 that its fifth episode moved to June 5 due to the effects of the pandemic COVID-19 on its production. The fifth episode was originally scheduled to show this month.

Pokemon: Twilight Wings will consist of seven five-minute episodes. On January 15, Episode 1 showed on YouTube with the following episodes every month.

Pokemon: Twilight Wings is about in the Region Galar, where Pokemon battles held and developed as a culture for everyone. In seven episodes, it will show the dreams of Galar's people in detail, truths they will face, difficulties they must succeed, and struggles they must fix. Also, to these new Pokemons, you can expect to see a variety of Pokemon first found in the Galar region appearing in the capsule series. The anime will be a drama showing the struggles and conflicts of young people living in the Galar region.

The assigned Director for this new anime is Shingo Yamashita (League of Legends: A New Journey director, Yozakura Quartet, Hana no Uta Episode Director, Fate/Apocrypha Key Animator of episode 23). Sawa Kinoshita is the Scriptwriter, and Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!, ERASED, Fruits Basket) is the Script Supervisor. Shin Ogasawara as the Character Designer and Izumi Hirose as Color Designer. Takamasa Masuki and Yusuke Takeda are the Art Directors. Masato Takahashi is in charge of the 3D Computer Graphics. Lastly, Katsuhito Ogawa as the Photography Director and Masafumi Mima as the Sound Director.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga franchise will release more than 60 million copies in distribution on May 13 - that includes digital copies and about 2.8 million copies of the upcoming 20th volume, which distributed in May 13 after a delay due to the impacts of the pandemic COVID-19.

The manga had approximately 3.5 million copies in circulation as of April 2019, when the anime adaptation debuted. Accordingly, their publication increased by about 17 times in one year. Demon Slayer franchise had approximately 12 million copies worldwide as of the release of the manga's 17th volume in October. The 18th volume debuted with a record first publishing of 1 million copies worldwide on December 4, growing the franchise's total distribution to more than 25 million copies. Shueisha announced on November 25 that Demon Slayer's manga is the second to One Piece for highest-selling manga in 2019.


As the debut of the 19th manga volume, the franchise as a whole (physical and digital releases) had 40 million copies in distribution. The volume sold approximated 1.378 million copies - rank #1 on Oricon's weekly print sales chart for February 3-9. The manga's 3rd series to have a single print volume to sell more than 1 million copies in its first week, after One Piece (45 times) and Attack on Titan (two times).

2020's combined 21st and 22nd issues of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine stated on April 27 that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will enter the story's "climax" in the next chapter in the 23rd distribution of Weekly Shonen Jump, which will ship on May 11.

On May 9, ODEX announced that the upcoming anime movie of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV series, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train will open on October 16 in Japan and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Brunei) but the release date in SEA is unknown.

The main staff members of Kimetsu no Yaiba is returning for the sequel. TOHO and Aniplex are handling the film's production.

In Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the Kimetsu no Yaiba debuted in February 2016 and published the manga's 19th compiled book volume by Shueisha on February 4. The manga had an anime adaptation that premiered in April 2019 and aired the final episode last September. The 20th volume is delayed from May 1 to May 13 due to the impacts of the spread of the pandemic virus COVID-19.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is having a new smartphone game called Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppu Kengeki Royale Demon Slayer: Blood-Stench Blade Royale. Aniplex will publish and produce the game this year. Also, it's having an action PlayStation 4 game called Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan and Aniplex will release the game in 2021.

Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko light novel announced last Friday that the release of 21st and last volume of The Devil is a Part-Timer! (Hataraku Maou-Sama) is moved on August 7 from its original July 10 release date due to the pandemic COVID-19.

Yen Press publishes both the Hataraku Maou-Sama light novels and a manga adaptation by Akio Hiiragi, and the story started from:

In 2011, the light novel with illustrations launched by Wagahara. Manga adaptation is launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in December 2011. Kurone Mishima made another manga sequel spinoff called Hataraku Maou-Sama! High School! in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine from 2012-2015. All five volumes of this manga are released by Yen Press also.

ComicWalker website launched a gourmet-genre manga spinoff Hataraku Maou-Sama! no Meshi! in August. Oji Sado is the illustrator of this manga. It adapts the latest spinoff volume in the light novel series, which also has the same title released in February 2019.

The main novel series had an anime adaptation in 2013. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired.

Viz Media announced on Friday that Rumiko Takahashi's "Inuyasha" is having a new anime spinoff titled Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon (Hanyo no Yashahime).

Viz describes the storyline of the new Inuyasha anime:

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's daughters set out on a journey transcending time!

In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other because of the forest fire. While Towa desperately finding her twin sister walks into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Sota Kagome Higurashi's brother, and his family.

Ten years later, the mysterious tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with her sister Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer under Kohaku. But to Towa's shock, Setsuna seems to have lost all memories of her older sister.

Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three shoujo travel between the two eras on an adventure to recover their lost past.

Inuyasha's episode director Teruo Sato is directing the anime at Sunrise, and Katsuyuki Sumisawa is responsible for the scriptwriting after doing the previous Inuyasha and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Takahashi is the main character designer, with Yoshihito Hishinuma from Inuyasha to adapt her designs. Kaoru Wada is also back to compose the music.

The 2020's 24th Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is adding a poster of the anime's official teaser visual on May 13, and Takahashi's fourth MAO manga volume promoting the Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon anime on May 18.

The fourth compiled book volume of Yuichi Hiiragi Kakegurui Midari manga is listed by Amazon as the last volume. It will air on June 22.

Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura's spin-off manga Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler focuses on the character Midari Ikishima as the president of Hyakkaou Beautification Council. These spin-off manga released on Square Enix's Manga Up! application in February 2017. They published the manga's third compiled book volume in August 2018.

The original Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler published in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine in March 2014 and released in English by Yen Press. The manga is aired as a television anime series in Japan from July to September 2017. The second season of this anime premiered in January 2019, and Netflix also started showing the series in July 2019. The manga has also got a 10-episode live-action adaptation premiered on Japan in January 2018, and Netflix is also streaming the live-action series outside Japan. Followed by a second season premiered in March 2019, and later on, got a live-action film in May 2019. 

Kakegurui has also had a two other spin-off manga, a four-panel comedy manga Kakegurui (Kari) by Taku Kawamura launched in December 2016, and twin manga Kakegurui by Kei Saiki launched in September 2015. Taku Kawamura and Kei Saiki's spin-off mangas shown in Gangan Joker magazine.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is launching this year for consoles (including Xbox Series X and Play Station 5) and PC. Ubisoft will be doing a similar release from its other recent games, skipping Steam and at least initially releasing in the Epic Games Store. Similar release method to the Ubisoft's recent games.

Ubisoft has declared that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will only be sold on the Epic Games Store. This game will also release on PC through Ubisoft's Uplay service. The Ubisoft's return is expected to be a big opportunity for Epic's store, which has seen a growing number of third-party games launch as exclusives over the last year.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be the first mainline new installment in Assassin's Creed series to skip Steam. Also, it will be the first game in the installments to launch for next-generation consoles Xbox Series X and Play Station 5. Assassin's Creed Odyssey (2018) and the rest of the earlier generation games are available to purchase on Steam now.

Ubisoft's The Division 2 was the first big game to release as an exclusive on the Epic Games Store. In 2019, at the Game Developers Conference, Ubisoft and Epic Games prolonged their publishing partnership for future releases, and now we confirmed one of them is the Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It was not published on Steam, but Ubisoft's agreement with Epic for Valhalla exact terms are unknown. Many of the other Epic exclusives, like 2K's Borderlands 3, did also released on Steam.

Paramount Pictures has provided a date for the new Transformers film franchise for June 24, 2020, and developing two different projects for the live-action, One by the writer of Murder Mystery James Vanderbilt and the other by John Wick Chapter 3 EP and Army of the Dead's writer Joby Harold.

Vanderbilt project is based on Transformers spin-off Beast Wars which are robots that can transform into robot animals like Cheetor (Cheetah), Rhinox (Rhinoceros), Optimus Primal (Gorilla), and more. The other project worked by Joby Harold based on the Bumblebee universe, sixth and most recent movie in Paramount Pictures' Transformers series. It’s not decided yet which one will make it to production.

The Hollywood Reporter reported on Wednesday that the Paramount Pictures and Hasbro's Entertainment studio eOne are creating an animated prequel film for the Transformers franchise. They said that the fil will be centered on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron and will take place on Cybertron, the shared planet of both the protagonist Autobots and antagonist Decepticons.

Transformers' War for Cybertron Trilogy: Siege is an upcoming animated series that will produce by the Polygon Pictures and Rooster Teeth. The series will be based on the civil war that ripped apart Cybertron and shows the backstory for most of the main films in the Transformers franchise. It will consist of six 22-minute episodes and will premiere on Netflix this year, and Netflix is might show two more series, including Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy: Earthrise next.

Love&Art's official website revealed on Friday that the surfing-themed anime project WAVE!! Surfing Yappe!! will be a 3-Part theatrical anime that will premiere in Japan this year.

MAGES anime studio is the one doing original work for the anime. Directing this anime by Takahara Ozaki (Girls' Last Tour, Goblin Slayer) at Asahi Production and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Girls' Last Tour, Black Clover) is managing the series composition. Yomi Sarachi (La Storia Della Arcana Famiglia, Mermaid Boys, Lostorage incited WIXOSS) is for the character designs and Tomoko Iwasa (Hakumei and Mikochi) for animation.

WAVE!! Surfing Yappe!! is set in the Ōarai City in Ibaraki Prefecture, and focuses on Masaki Hinaoka who recently befriend with the transfer student Shō Akitsuki before the summer break, and ends up being interested in surfing. Because of surfing, Masaki will encounter and get to know new companions and friends and will also be separated from them in his journey to the new chapter of his life.
