Netflix is now showing the Official Trailer for the Second Season of the new Baki The Grappler: In Search of Our Strongest Hero "Baki: Dai Raitai Sai-hen" on Thursday. They reveal its official English title Baki: The Great Raitai Tournament Saga. They also unveiled a new visual.
Additionally, on Thursday Akita Shoten's Weekly Shounen Champion magazine revealed in its 25th issue this year that not only the anime covers the Great Raitai Tournament Saga manga story, but also the Kami no Ko Gekitotsu "The Clash of the Children of Gods" arc. The anime will also show the stories based on the "Revenge Tokyo" side stories focusing on the death row convicts from the Baki (2018) season. Featuring the return of the voice actors of Chafurin (Speck), Takehito Koyasu (Hector Doyle), Banjou Ginga (Dorian), Kenjiro Tsuda (Sikorsky), and Issei Futamata (Ryuuko Yanagi).
The Baki: The Great Raitai Tournament Saga will debut worldwide on Netflix on June 4. With the returning staff for the second season, with the addition of Masanori Nishiyama and Shingo Ishikawa. The casts are also returning for the second season. GRANRODEO will perform the opening theme song titled "Jounetsu wa Oboeteiru" (Remember Your Passion), and Ena Fujita performs the ending theme song titled "Dead Stroke."
Netflix premiered the first season of Baki in June 2018 in Japan, and it lasts for 26 episodes finishing in December 2018. They only began posting the first 13 episodes outside of Japan in December 2018, followed by the last 13 episodes of the first season in March 2019.
