ODEX Opens Kimetsu No Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-He Film in Southeast Asia

On May 9, ODEX announced that the upcoming anime movie of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV series, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train will open on October 16 in Japan and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Brunei) but the release date in SEA is unknown.

The main staff members of Kimetsu no Yaiba is returning for the sequel. TOHO and Aniplex are handling the film's production.

In Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the Kimetsu no Yaiba debuted in February 2016 and published the manga's 19th compiled book volume by Shueisha on February 4. The manga had an anime adaptation that premiered in April 2019 and aired the final episode last September. The 20th volume is delayed from May 1 to May 13 due to the impacts of the spread of the pandemic virus COVID-19.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is having a new smartphone game called Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppu Kengeki Royale Demon Slayer: Blood-Stench Blade Royale. Aniplex will publish and produce the game this year. Also, it's having an action PlayStation 4 game called Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami KeppÅ«tan and Aniplex will release the game in 2021.
